Entry-Level Baker


We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Baker to join our team in Svalbard. As an Entry-Level Baker, you will assist in the preparation and baking of various breads, pastries, and other delicious treats. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and looking to start their career in the culinary industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
- Monitor baking process to ensure quality standards are met
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
Starting salary for this entry-level position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. Please note that accommodation will not be provided.
