Roofer in Svalbard

We are currently hiring a skilled Roofer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for repairing and installing roofs on both residential and commercial buildings. Your duties will include inspecting roofs, identifying and repairing any damage, and ensuring that all work is completed to meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine necessary repairs
- Install new roofing materials
- Repair any leaks or damaged areas
- Remove old roofing materials when necessary
- Ensure all work meets safety standards
- Communicate with clients to discuss project details and provide updates on progress
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different roofing materials and installation methods
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to climb ladders and perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Salary: $1700 per month (contract job)
Location: Svalbard (accommodation not provided)
