Crane Operator in Mecca, Saudi Arabia



We are currently seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy objects on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain different types of cranes such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes according to safety standards and regulations
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential hazards or defects
- Communicate with site supervisors to determine the location of materials and equipment needed for lifting operations
- Calculate load capacities and determine the best lifting methods for different objects based on weight, size, and shape
- Maneuver cranes into position using hand signals or radio communication from ground crew
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Keep records of daily activities including material lifted, hours worked, and any maintenance performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in crane operation is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating different types of cranes in a construction environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to crane operation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
