Computer Support Specialist

A computer support specialist is responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems. They must have a strong understanding of computer systems and be able to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide solutions
- Install and configure new computer equipment and systems
- Maintain and upgrade existing computer systems
- Train users on basic computer functions and applications
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Keep accurate records of all support activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
