Copywriter - Contract Position in Svalbard


We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content across various mediums, including print, digital, and social media.

As a Copywriter, you will work closely with our marketing and design teams to develop and execute effective advertising campaigns that promote our brand and products. You will also be responsible for conducting research on industry trends and consumer insights to inform your writing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to craft persuasive copy that resonates with target audiences. They should also have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop creative concepts for advertising campaigns
- Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for various mediums, including print ads, website content, social media posts, email campaigns, etc.
- Conduct research on industry trends and consumer insights to inform writing
- Edit and proofread copy for accuracy and consistency
- Ensure all content is aligned with brand voice and style guidelines
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills across different mediums
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other design software is a plus
- Must have accommodation in Svalbard or be willing to relocate
- Valid visa and passport for international candidates

Salary:
$1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
