Blast Furnace Operator

We are seeking a hardworking and experienced Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Split, Croatia. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces to melt and refine iron ore into pig iron.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate blast furnaces according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow rates of furnace operations
- Maintain proper levels of raw materials and additives in the furnace
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or abnormalities and report them to maintenance team
- Control the flow of molten iron into ladles or molds
- Monitor furnace emissions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Clean and maintain furnaces and surrounding work areas

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Blast Furnace Worker or similar role
- Understanding of furnace operations, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to heat, noise, and fumes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
