Glass Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Technician to join our team in La-Condamine. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass products such as windows, doors, and mirrors. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a glazier and possess strong technical skills in cutting, shaping, and installing glass.

Responsibilities:
- Install and repair various types of glass products including windows, doors, and mirrors
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions
- Secure glass in frames using putty, caulking or rubber gaskets
- Use hand and power tools to shape and smooth edges of glass
- Install weather stripping around windows to improve energy efficiency
- Repair or replace broken or cracked glass
- Work with clients to determine their needs and provide recommendations for products and services
- Adhere to safety standards while working with glass materials

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a glazier or in a related field
- Strong technical skills in cutting, shaping, and installing various types of glass products
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in the installation process
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if needed
- Own visa or legal right to work in La-Condamine
- Availability for flexible working hours including weekends if needed
