Restaurant Manager in Alta, Norway
We are a well-established restaurant in Alta, Norway seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in restaurant management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of food and beverage industry trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in staff training and development
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills preferred)
- Valid work permit for Norway (visa sponsorship available)
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
- Train and develop staff to maintain high standards of service quality
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to ensure consistency
- Create staff schedules that meet business needs while controlling labor costs
- Oversee purchasing and inventory management to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
