IT Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Mauren. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing IT systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1400$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. Biometric passport is required for this position. This job is suitable for both men and women with experience in IT support.

As an IT Support Specialist, your duties will include:

- Providing technical support via phone, email, or in-person to clients experiencing computer hardware or software issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer systems, printers, network connectivity, etc.
- Maintaining and managing company's IT systems including servers, workstations, routers, switches, etc.
- Installing new hardware or software as needed
- Performing regular system backups and updates
- Assisting with the implementation of new technology or upgrades
- Documenting technical procedures and creating user manuals
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their technical needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Collaborating with other team members to resolve complex technical problems

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software applications (such as Microsoft Office), operating systems (Windows), and networking concepts
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
- Experience with Active Directory and remote desktop tools
- Knowledge of server administration (Windows Server) is an asset
- Biometric passport is required
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be willing to work on a contract basis
