Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase hotel sales and revenue. You will work closely with the hotel management team to identify potential clients and create marketing plans to attract them. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and ensuring their continued satisfaction. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue
- Identify potential clients through market research and networking
- Create marketing plans to target specific client segments
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to set sales goals and monitor progress
- Maintain relationships with existing clients through regular communication and personalized service
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the hotel
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
- Train and supervise the hotel sales team to ensure they are meeting targets and providing exceptional customer service
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, including financial targets, client feedback, and market trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of market trends in the hospitality industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Location: This position is located in Almada but may require occasional travel within Portugal.
Salary: The salary for this position is $1000 per month. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
