Part-Time Architectural Designer

Our architectural design firm in Funchal is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Part-Time Architectural Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects, both independently and as part of a team, to create innovative and functional designs for our clients. This is a part-time position, with the potential for full-time employment in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
- Create detailed architectural plans using CAD software
- Develop 3D models and renderings to communicate design concepts
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility
- Research materials and products to incorporate into designs
- Work with contractors and engineers to ensure designs meet building codes and regulations
- Make revisions to designs based on client feedback
- Manage project timelines and budgets

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in architectural design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Familiarity with BIM software

Salary: Starting at 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
