Part-Time Fitter in Svalbard

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team on a part-time basis in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical components and equipment according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings
- Inspect, assemble, install, and repair mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, and motors
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth materials
- Ensure all equipment is properly aligned and functioning correctly
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or repair processes
- Adhere to safety standards at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Knowledge of various hand and power tools used in fitting work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills
