Land Surveyor

We are hiring a Land Surveyor to join our team in Svalbard. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring and mapping land surfaces, collecting data on site conditions, and preparing reports and maps for construction or development projects. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Record precise measurements of land features such as boundaries, topography, and structures
- Analyze data to create accurate maps and reports for clients
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to determine project requirements
- Ensure surveys comply with legal standards and regulations
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment as needed

Requirements:
- Degree or certification in land surveying or related field preferred
- Knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using surveying software
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Good physical condition for working outdoors in various weather conditions
