We are currently hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, such as building frameworks, partitions, doors, and window frames.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials required and dimensions of structure or fixture
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand tools or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim according to specifications
- Inspect work pieces for defects and repair any faulty components
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working with power tools and machinery

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Proficient with hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills etc.
- Knowledge of different wood types and their properties
- Good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. The successful candidate will be responsible for finding their own accommodation in Oslo. However, we will provide free visa assistance and cover the cost of the candidate's flight ticket to Norway.
