Junior Accountant



We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting activities such as data entry, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents
- Follow up on outstanding payments or discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior experience is not required but candidates with some accounting or finance experience will be given preference

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position based in Khasab. We welcome applications from Pakistani nationals who have the right to work in Oman. No English language skills are required for this position.
