Pastry Chef
A prestigious restaurant in Os, Norway is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts for our guests. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute dessert menus that complement the overall menu of the restaurant
- Prepare all types of pastries, including cakes, tarts, breads, and other baked goods
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all pastry items served
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques to continuously improve pastry offerings
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
- Train and supervise pastry assistants to maintain high standards in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques and pastry ingredients
- Creativity and ability to develop unique flavor combinations
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in English
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month with potential for growth within the company.
