Job Title: Executive Chef at a Luxury Resort in Svalbard
We are a renowned luxury resort located in the breathtaking landscapes of Svalbard. We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team and lead our culinary department to new heights. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1300$. Our company provides accommodation for our employees, making it easier for you to settle into your new role.
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort's culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. You will work closely with our team of talented chefs to create innovative and high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations. Your role will also involve managing food costs, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting. You must have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff. A passion for creating exceptional dining experiences is essential, as well as a creative flair for developing new menu items.
You must also possess excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. In addition to your culinary expertise, we are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills who can build strong relationships with other departments within the resort. As an Executive Chef, you will collaborate closely with our Food and Beverage Manager to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen operations and guest services.
