Librarian


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Plovdiv. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, assisting patrons with research and information inquiries, and planning and implementing library programs and events.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize library materials, including cataloging, shelving, and maintaining circulation records.
- Assist patrons in locating materials and providing information and research assistance.
- Plan and implement library programs and events for all ages.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to promote library services.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends in librarianship, technology, literature, and other relevant subjects.
- Train and supervise library staff, volunteers, or interns.
- Maintain the physical appearance of the library by ensuring shelves are neat and tidy, displays are updated regularly, and equipment is functioning properly.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Proficient in using computer systems for cataloging, circulation records, and research purposes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passion for books and reading.

Salary: $900/month
Location: Plovdiv
