Instrument Technician


Our growing company is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial and manufacturing processes. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1700$ per month, plus free visa and ticket for foreign candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, level sensors, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Calibrate instruments according to technical specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals to determine proper installation methods.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure efficient operation of instruments.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols while working with hazardous materials.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in industrial processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members.
- Physically fit for performing tasks that may involve heavy lifting or working at heights.

Preferred qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in instrumentation or related field.
- Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus.
