Indian Executive Chef in Vianden
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Vianden. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our restaurant's menu, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the quality and consistency of our food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an innovative and authentic Indian menu that reflects the culture and traditions of India
- Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Monitor food costs, inventory levels, and kitchen supplies to maintain budgetary targets
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met in accordance with local health codes
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions related to Indian cuisine
- Continuously research new ingredients, cooking techniques, and trends in Indian cuisine to keep the menu fresh and exciting
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in an Indian restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including spices, cooking techniques, regional variations, etc.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards a common goal
- High level of creativity and passion for creating unique dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (knowledge of German or French is a plus)
- Must be able to legally work in Vianden without sponsorship
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Vianden (no accommodation provided)
