Baker for Indian Bakery in Nairobi, Kenya

We are a renowned Indian bakery in Nairobi, Kenya seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of Indian baked goods, such as naan, roti, and samosas. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in an Indian bakery and be able to work without supervision. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month. Accommodation and free visa and ticket will be provided by the company. This is an urgent job opening for individuals who are passionate about baking and eager to join our fast-paced bakery.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough for various Indian baked goods
- Shape and bake dough into desired forms
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and glazes
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust accordingly
- Ensure all baked goods are of high quality and meet our standards
- Keep work area clean and sanitized at all times
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an Indian bakery is preferred
- Knowledge of traditional Indian baking techniques is a plus
- Ability to work without supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and creativity in decorating baked goods
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to work on a contract basis
