Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Jerusalem)
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team in Jerusalem. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our Indian cuisine restaurant, including menu creation, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and authentic Indian cuisine menus that cater to a diverse customer base
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes to ensure high quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and ordering of all food supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food costs and budget to maximize profits
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and implement promotions or specials
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian cuisine restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus that appeal to a wide range of tastes
- Ability to manage a team effectively, provide training when needed, and ensure consistency in food quality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hebrew is a plus)
Salary: $1300 per month
