Contract Heavy Equipment Operator in Oslo

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Oslo on a contract basis. As an operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to move materials and perform tasks related to construction and earth moving projects. This is a great opportunity for someone without experience in the field, as we offer on-the-job training and provide accommodation during the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders according to safety guidelines and company standards
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
- Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate work and maintain efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification preferred but not required
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and withstand long periods of standing, bending, and operating heavy machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per week.

We provide accommodation for employees during the duration of their contract. Accommodations may include shared housing or individual apartments depending on availability.

Location:
This position is located in Oslo, Norway. While preference may be given to candidates who are already authorized to work in Norway, we are open to considering candidates from other countries as well.
