Senior Architect (Part-Time)



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Svalbard on a part-time basis. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various projects, ensuring that they meet client requirements and adhere to all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their objectives
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process
- Review and approve all design changes made during construction
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Svalbard

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1000 per month.
