Merchandiser for Retail Store in Doha, Qatar


We are in need of a skilled Merchandiser to join our retail store team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a keen eye for visual merchandising. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays and ensuring that our products are strategically placed to attract customers.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with store management to plan and execute visual merchandising strategies
- Set up attractive displays that highlight new products, promotions, and seasonal items
- Regularly rotate and restock merchandise to maintain a fresh and organized appearance
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any restocking needs to the appropriate departments
- Conduct market research to stay updated on current trends and competitors' displays
- Work closely with the buying team to ensure that the right products are ordered and displayed
- Train and supervise junior merchandisers on display techniques and standards
- Ensure that all promotional materials are properly displayed according to company guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in retail sales is an asset but not required
- Strong creative skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
- Knowledge of current fashion trends, product placement techniques, and visual merchandising principles
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English proficiency preferred)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds, climb ladders, and bend or twist as needed
