IT Manager - Jerusalem, Kenya

Our IT company based in Jerusalem is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to lead our team. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. This includes managing a team of IT professionals, overseeing the installation and maintenance of hardware and software, ensuring network security and data protection, and staying abreast of new developments in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, excellent technical skills, and a passion for staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of technology. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software systems
- Ensure network security and data protection measures are in place
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to inform decision-making
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Collaborate with other departments to develop technology solutions that meet their needs
- Create budget plans for IT operations and monitor expenses

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (Master's preferred)
- At least 5 years experience in an IT management role
- Strong technical skills including knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, databases, etc.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects within budget constraints
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Knowledgeable about cybersecurity measures and data privacy regulations
Preferred:
- Experience working in Kenya or with Kenyan companies
