Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Eldoret. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase market share. You will also be responsible for managing the sales team, developing relationships with corporate clients, and maintaining a strong presence in the local community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Manage the sales team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure success
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with corporate clients
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform sales strategies
- Create and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the local community
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments within the hotel
- Knowledge of local market trends and competition is preferred
- Must have own visa to work in Eldoret
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1300$. Accommodation is not provided, therefore candidates must have their own accommodation arrangements.
