Civil Engineer (Bergen, Norway)


We are in search of a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bergen, Norway. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the field and a strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and design construction projects, including roads, bridges, buildings and other structures
- Oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring completion within budget and on schedule
- Collaborate with architects, contractors and other professionals to ensure project success
- Conduct site visits to evaluate progress and quality of work
- Analyze survey reports, maps and other data to plan project layout
- Prepare cost estimates for materials and labor
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and other legal requirements
- Monitor progress against project plans and take necessary corrective actions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Civil Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques and materials
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
