Registered Nurse - Home Care (Contract)

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Home Care department, you will play a vital role in providing quality care for our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This is a contract position with the potential for extension, offering competitive pay and flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients' health needs
- Develop and implement personalized care plans based on assessment findings
- Monitor and document clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate clients and their families on proper self-care techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Qualifications:
- Active registration as a Registered Nurse in Canada
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in a clinical setting, preferably in home care or community health
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound nursing judgments
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with the potential for extension. The working hours are flexible, but regular availability during weekdays is required. There may also be occasional weekend shifts.
