Contract Truck Driver in Fonvieille, France


We are currently hiring a Contract Truck Driver to join our team in Fonvieille, France. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 12 months and the potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)
- Transport goods to and from specified destinations in a timely and safe manner
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues before and after trips
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver preferably in long-haul transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent education level required; additional technical training is a plus
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and physical exam
- Good communication skills in English or French; multilingual is a plus
- Basic math skills for calculating mileage, fuel costs, etc.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects regularly

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1700 per month with potential bonuses based on performance.

Location:
This position is based in Fonvieille, France. Preference will be given to candidates who already reside within the local area.

Contract Job:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 12 months. The contract may be extended based on performance.

Experience Required:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver is required for this position.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent education level is required; additional technical training is a plus.
