Pastry Chef - Fonvieille, Monaco

As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicate and delicious pastries for our high-end restaurant in Fonvieille, Monaco. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop new and innovative dessert menus that will delight our guests. Your attention to detail and passion for pastry artistry will ensure that every dish is beautifully presented and of the highest quality. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, training junior pastry staff, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Salary: 1300$ (negotiable based on experience)

City: Fonvieille, Monaco

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries including cakes, tarts, macarons, and more
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new dessert menus
- Ensure all pastries are made to the highest standard of quality
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train junior pastry staff on techniques and recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all food safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques such as tempering chocolate, working with sugar, etc.
- Creative flair with the ability to develop new recipes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
