Executive Pastry Chef
We are currently in search of an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Fonvieille. As the head of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing all aspects of our pastry menu, including desserts, pastries, and breads.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create new pastry recipes that align with our restaurant's concept and menu offerings
- Train and manage a team of pastry cooks to ensure consistency and high quality in all pastry items
- Ensure proper inventory management to maintain necessary supplies for daily operations
- Oversee the production of all pastries, desserts, and breads for both daily service and special events
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area according to safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience as a Pastry Chef
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Expertise in traditional French pastry techniques with a modern twist
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Salary:
