Crane Operator


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects at construction sites or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Inspect and maintain the crane before and after use
- Ensure safe operation of the crane by following all safety procedures and regulations
- Read and interpret load charts to determine appropriate load capacities
- Communicate with ground crew to ensure proper positioning of materials
- Operate crane controls to lift, move, and position materials according to instructions
- Monitor weather conditions that may affect crane operations
- Report any malfunctions or issues with the crane immediately to supervisors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid certification as a Crane Operator
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret load charts
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to crane operations
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment
