Commercial Architect (Svalbard)



A leading architectural firm in Svalbard is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Architect to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1300$. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in commercial architecture. The ideal candidate will have excellent design skills, a thorough understanding of building codes and regulations, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop commercial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions
- Create detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for construction
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and regulations
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure successful project completion

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds
