Merchandising Coordinator

Our retail company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Merchandising Coordinator to join our team in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product merchandising, from selecting and sourcing products to designing displays and analyzing sales data. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics and a keen understanding of consumer behavior.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with buyers to select and source products that align with company's brand and target market
- Design attractive and effective product displays in-store and online
- Monitor inventory levels and make timely reordering decisions
- Analyze sales data and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' products and displays
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery, and product specifications
- Train store staff on proper merchandising techniques
- Travel to various locations for store visits, including some international travel may be required

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience in merchandising or retail buying
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $1200/month
Location: Lisbon, Portugal (accommodation provided)
