Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy for our luxury hotel in Malindi. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong sales background in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, a proven track record of meeting sales targets, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and target potential clients and markets to increase business
- Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key partners
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities
- Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with clients
- Manage the sales team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure success
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sales Manager in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of market trends, competition, and customer needs in the hospitality industry
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Accommodation: Provided by the company (if needed)
Location: Malindi, Kenya (candidates of Indian nationality preferred)
