Industrial Architect



An established architectural firm in Porto is seeking an experienced Industrial Architect to join our team. As an Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of industrial buildings, such as factories, warehouses, and distribution centers. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to understand their needs and developing creative solutions that meet their budget and timeline requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial design and possess excellent project management skills. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine project goals, budget, and timeline
- Create detailed designs for industrial buildings using computer-aided design software
- Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with design plans
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status
- Manage project budget and make adjustments as needed
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in industrial architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Industrial Architect
- Proficiency in computer-aided design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp)
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional project management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Experience working on international projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken)

We offer competitive compensation for this contract position including a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation will also be provided during the duration of the contract.
