Head Chef - Indian Cuisine (Ar-Ruwais)
As the Head Chef for our Indian restaurant in Ar-Ruwais, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. Your main duties will include menu planning, food preparation and cooking, managing kitchen staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. You must have a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and be able to create unique and authentic dishes that will delight our customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a reputable Indian restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to manage a team of kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations
- Excellent communication skills to train and motivate staff
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes and dishes
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and control costs
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid work permit for Ar-Ruwais
Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus that showcase traditional Indian dishes alongside modern twists
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation methods
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared according to company standards
