Job Title: Part-Time Librarian in Fonvieille



We are seeking a dedicated and organized Part-Time Librarian to join our team at the Fonvieille Library. As a librarian, you will be responsible for assisting patrons with their research needs, organizing library materials, and providing excellent customer service. This is a part-time position, perfect for someone looking to supplement their income or gain experience in the field of library science.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating and checking out materials
- Answer reference questions and provide research assistance
- Organize and maintain library materials according to the Dewey Decimal System
- Process new materials for circulation
- Plan and implement library programs and events
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and maintain a welcoming and efficient library environment
- Keep accurate records of circulation statistics and patron interactions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a library or customer service setting is a plus
- Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System and other library classification systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This is a part-time position paying $1200 per month.

Location:
The Fonvieille Library is located in the beautiful city of Fonvieille. This position is open to all nationalities.
