Data Analyst

A data-driven company in Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations for our company. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month, and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
- Analyze data using statistical methods and tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Create visualizations and dashboards to present data in a clear and understandable manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Develop predictive models and perform forecasting to support decision-making processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, Python/R or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Preference will be given to Indian candidates who are able to work without English language requirements.
