Preservation Architect

We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in the United States. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop and implement plans for historic preservation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on the history, design, and materials of historic structures
- Assessing the condition of buildings and identifying areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Developing preservation plans that comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborating with clients to understand their goals for the project
- Coordinating with contractors and overseeing construction work
- Ensuring that all work meets preservation standards and guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project
- Providing guidance on sustainable preservation practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and styles
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines for historic preservation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

This is a full-time position with competitive salary ($1400/month) and visa sponsorship available.
