Head Chef - Nepali Cuisine (Lusail)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our team and oversee the kitchen operations at our renowned Nepali restaurant in Lusail. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative menus, managing food costs and inventory, training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and authentic Nepali menus that cater to a diverse clientele
- Manage food costs by sourcing quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Monitor inventory levels to minimize waste and maintain adequate stock
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently prepared
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Expertise in Nepali cuisine with knowledge of traditional spices and cooking methods
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport required for foreign nationals
Salary: 1000$ USD per month
