Registered Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for providing individualized nutrition counseling and education to clients with various health conditions. Your role will involve assessing clients' nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and monitoring their progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for clients with diverse health conditions
- Develop customized meal plans based on clients' dietary needs and preferences
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in nutrition science

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, preferably in a clinical setting
- Excellent knowledge of nutrition principles and ability to apply them in practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Fluency in English (Norwegian language skills would be an advantage)
- Valid work permit for Norway (own visa)
