Data Mining Specialist



A leading data analytics company in Kaunas is seeking a talented Data Mining Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that will help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in data mining techniques and tools, as well as a strong analytical mindset. Responsibilities:
- Gather and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use statistical methods to identify patterns and trends within the data
- Develop and implement data mining algorithms and techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and improve the accuracy of data mining models

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Proven experience in data mining techniques such as clustering, regression analysis, classification, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with database systems and SQL queries
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience with machine learning techniques and tools
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)
