Electrical Engineer - Mombasa, Kenya



As an Electrical Engineer in Mombasa, Kenya, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining electrical systems and components. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and create efficient solutions that meet industry standards. Your role will also involve testing and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing electrical systems for various projects
- Collaborating with clients to determine project requirements and specifications
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed projects
- Creating detailed designs and technical drawings using specialized software
- Selecting appropriate materials and equipment for each project
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Performing quality control checks on completed projects
- Troubleshooting electrical systems to identify and resolve any issues
- Providing technical support to clients during the installation process
- Maintaining accurate records of all project documentation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in designing electrical systems using specialized software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. NEC, IEC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
Salary for this position starts at $1000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.

Contract Type:
This is a full-time contract position.
