Preservation Architect in Monte-Carlo, Monaco
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. As a Preservation Architect, your main responsibility will be to oversee the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures in the city.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Extensive knowledge of historic building materials and techniques
- Experience with historic building surveys and documentation
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough surveys and assessments of historic buildings to determine necessary preservation work
- Develop preservation plans and proposals for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure proper implementation of preservation plans
- Monitor progress and quality of restoration work
- Prepare detailed reports on project status for clients
- Keep up-to-date with new techniques and materials for historical building preservation
