Experienced Carpenter in Sharjah, UAE


We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This position requires knowledge of construction materials, mathematics, and blueprint reading. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand and power tools and possess excellent carpentry skills.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings and cabinets
- Cut or shape wood materials using hand or power tools
- Inspect construction materials for defects or damage
- Build scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including measuring, cutting, shaping materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately
- Experience working with hand and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)

Salary: 900$ per month
