Executive Chef - International Cuisine

As an Executive Chef for our luxury resort in Bungoma, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation and ensuring the highest level of quality and service for our guests. You will be in charge of creating and implementing menus featuring international cuisine, as well as managing a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff. Your expertise in food preparation, presentation, and menu development will be essential in maintaining our reputation as a top dining destination.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus featuring a variety of international cuisines
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including proper storage, cooking techniques, and portion control
- Train and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and service
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless dining experiences for guests
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Expertise in preparing international cuisine with a focus on presentation and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other departments and provide guidance to staff
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: Starting at $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bungoma, Kenya (open to applicants from Egypt)

Language Requirement: Fluent English preferred but not required. Knowledge of Swahili is a plus.
