Part-Time Librarian

We are in need of a part-time Librarian for our library located in Ar-Ruwais, UAE. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's resources and providing assistance to library patrons. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a flexible work schedule and has a passion for books and literature.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing resources within the library
- Create and maintain an efficient system for borrowing and returning materials
- Ensure that all materials are properly cataloged and shelved
- Keep track of library inventory and order new materials as needed
- Provide basic technological support to patrons, such as using computers or printers
- Promote the library's services through outreach programs or social media platforms

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a library preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist patrons of all ages and backgrounds
- Familiarity with various computer systems and applications used in libraries
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Must have a valid biometric passport

This is a part-time position with a salary of 900$ per month. We welcome applicants from all nationalities but preference will be given to Indian candidates.
