JAVA Developer

Our company is a leading software development firm located in the beautiful city of Vianden, known for its picturesque landscapes and rich history. We are currently seeking an experienced JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining JAVA applications, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. They should also have experience with database design and integration, and be familiar with Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating high-quality, efficient code. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will work closely with our team of developers and project managers to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations. Your daily tasks will include writing clean, efficient code using best practices and standards, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, implementing and maintaining JAVA applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop software solutions
- Troubleshooting issues in existing codebase and implementing fixes
- Participating in code reviews to ensure high quality standards are met
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our software development processes
- Following Agile methodologies for project management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with database design and integration (SQL or NoSQL)
- Knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies
- Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate, or other JAVA frameworks
- Experience with mobile application development (Android or iOS)
- Familiarity with biometric passport technology
